Our aim at Zodhya has always been to develop products that are integrable into any given building. Only then, the technology we develop be quickly scaled across different geographies.

While we were making the technology applicable to various parts of the world, there was a problem waiting to be solved. And that’s integration.

Integration with the existing systems of the building.

One of the key differentiators of the technology is the ability to drive value from any electrical equipment it is connected to. And the key factor to enable it is the integration. In this blog, we discuss how we’ve overcome this challenge, which has put Zodhya a step forward into the global markets.

See, any equipment is designed to operate and function in a specific way to operate and function. And that’s where we’ve made sure our technology of hardware and AI can deliver. But the way each equipment is controlled and then managed differs from building to building.

We started noticing that each building and company has different systems in place, such as BMS (Building Management System) and EnMS (Energy Management System), among others.. And then there are some buildings that have partial implementation of such systems.

At the start, this was all confusing to us. But then, our team stuck to the fundamentals, wherein we looked into the protocols that were enabling the systems discussed above and developed ways of integrating with such systems. Also, addressed our architecture in a manner that even if the building has existing systems which are partially in place, our products can still be integrated into such systems.

Today, we have flexible architectures that allow us to function in different ways than ever before. This again has been propelling us positively into offering our solution to various geographies of the world.

But we would say this is just the beginning, the path to a global product, made in India.

And what’s the next challenge that’s awaiting this global path?
